Arrest warrant on Gnanasara Thera

The Homagama Magistrate today issued an arrest warrant on Bodu Bala Sena Secretary General, Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara on charges of contempt of court and the disruption of court proceedings.
According the reporter, order was issued on the charges of allegedly threatening, Sandhya Eknaligoda, the wife of missing journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda, at the court premises.
Sandhya Eknaligoda had arrived at the premises for the hearing into the Habeas Corpus case in connection with the disappearance case.

The Ekneligoda case is so sensitive that it has the definite potential of defining the political journey of our emerald isle for the next couple of decades.
The outcome of the Ekneligoda case has the definite potential to see the eradication of familial rule, the downfall of the SLFP and shall allow the country to breathe a sense of relief.
Two other events, the Thajudeen case and the implementation of the UNHRC resolution, will see our country on a democratic path.
The SLFP will be in tatters before year’s end and will be built over a period exceeding a decade if those at the top are intent on the rebuilding process.
For sure, the SLFP has CBK; she’s bound to make sure her illustrious father’s ideals are indelibly printed in SLFP’s fabric before her time is up.
