SLFP officials to be informed about Mervyn
Steps have been taken to inform the SLFP General Secretary and the other party officials about the various allegations of corruption against Public Relations Minister Mervyn Silva, Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera stated.
The PS members stated this at a press conference held yesterday (January 9) at the SLFP headquarters.
The PS Chairman stated that the party leaders will be made aware of the allegations leveled against Mervyn Silva as well as the members of the Pradeshiya Sabha in Kelaniya adding that the party leaders had promised to give the people of Kelaniya a fair solution.
Minister Silva stated that upon his request the party will conduct investigations into the PS members who have made these allegations against him.

Mervin should be fired from parliament.
At least start with a kick out from the Cabinet of Ministers. Incorrigible character.
This man is a gangster. I wonder how many people have suffered over the years as a result of his thuggery and pillaging. Just because he attended Law College in his early years with the Hon President, he should no longer be tolerated. Justice has to be seen to be done unhampered, for corruption. He was ejected from his ministerial post over the ‘Tying a man to a tree’ incident. But 1000 misguided, naive Buddhist prelates saved his bacon through a petition to the President. He was pardoned and given a new ministerial post. The Kelaniya University even invested him with an Hon Degree. How disgraceful! No wonder he hasn’t learnt from his past mistake! I hope this time round, he is given his comeuppance.
This is Sri Lanka!!! SF was branded as a traitor and put in the prism. Killers such as Karuna and KP are VIPs (because according to some people, people they pleaded for clemency???). Gangsters such as Dr Mervin is a parliamentarian. Kata kiyannada mewa. Naduth Rajjuruwange Baduth Rajuruwange.
