UPFA Kelaniya PS member shot dead

UPFA member of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha member Hasitha Madawala has been shot dead by an unidentified gunman near his home at Waragoda, Kelaniya around 7.30 pm today (5), Police said.
The victim, who is said to be a supporter of the Kelaniya PS Chairman, succumbed to his injuries on admission to the National Hospital.

It is sad to note that this kind of gun cluture is openly happening in the Sacred City of Kelaniya Temple and where there is a powerful Minister in charge of the Electorate. So the New Year 2013 too has commenced with the same old tune unidentified persons killing people in Sri Lanka and the police will say that they are conducting investigations. So the same old story will prevail within the law enforcement authorities in catching the culprits.

Draw your sword and dagger and go behind the killer/s.This indeed reflects badly on you.
He is a man, he is a hero who has given his life to our nation.
He stood upto evil forces and paid a price for his courage with his own life.
The late Mr Hasitha Madawela is a martyr who will be remembered for generations to come as a leading light who battled the dark forces roaming in Kelaniya.
May you rest in peace, Dear Hasitha, you always did and and always will have a place in the hearts of the common people of Kelaniya.
I thought terrorism was wiped out. Daily I read only about gang rapes, robbing,kidnapping, killing, are these people involved, licenced to do this?
Police is loing their credibility. This man was criticising a politician notorious for his crimes, bribes and corruption. He is also well known to be close to the power family of the country. They have got an open license to kill, Do they think saving goats at Munneswaram is better than saving human life. Police the whole world is watching.

This PS member should have shot dead himself to tarnish the pure character in Kelaniya.
