Two dead as suspected IS gunman takes hostages in France

At least two people were killed after a gunman claiming allegiance to the Islamic State group opened fire and took hostages at a supermarket in southwest France on Friday.

A-32-year old Sri Lankan was arrested this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with yellow gold jewellery weighing two kilogram worth Rs.13 million, Deputy Customs Director and Customs Spokesman Vipula Minuwanpitiya said.

COPA should question Dr. Fernando – JVP
