Keheliya Rambukwella arrested by CIABOC

Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella was arrested by officials of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (August 18).
He was arrested after appearing before the Commission to provide a statement in connection with an investigation.
Rambukwella is accused of causing a loss to the government by recruiting six employees in excess of the approved staff cadre of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.
