Mount Lavinia abduction: Boy found
A boy who was allegedly abducted from his house in Mount Lavinia yesterday has been found, Police told Ada Derana. Police stated that currently the boy was being brought back by his father from Ruwanwella.
At the moment the details surrounding the mysterious abduction and discovery were scarce according to police.
Details on the initial complaint claimed that the 15 year old boy was abducted yesterday by an unidentified gang after breaking into his house down Templar’s Road, Mount Lavinia. The mother was bound and told that a ransom of Rs. 5 million should be paid to secure the safe release of the boy.
Today morning police said that they have information that the father of the child who is a Doctor is bringing the child back from Ruwanwella. Further details will be revealed when the boy returns, police stated.
