Bodies of duo missing in Buwelikada collapsed building incident recovered

The bodies have been recovered of a couple who got trapped inside a building at Buwelikada in Kandy following a caving-in, says the Disaster Management Centre.

Their child, who was one-and-a-half-months-old, was rescued, but died in hospital later.

Two women survived after a five-story building nearby caved-in and collapsed onto their home.
