Bread prices up by Rs. 20 from tomorrow

The price of a loaf of bread will be increased by Rs.20 and other bakery products by Rs.10 from midnight today (July 12), Sri Lanka’s bakery owners announced.
The All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association attributed the price increase to the decision by wheat flour companies to increase prices.
The price of bread had previously been increased in March, April and May this year.
