Wasantha Karannagoda and Yoshitha Rajapaksa indicted in corruption case

Former Sri Lanka Navy Commander Wasantha Karannagoda and Yoshitha Rajapaksa were served indictments before the Colombo High Court today (August 20) in connection with a corruption allegation.
Yoshitha Rajapaksa is the second son of former Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The High Court Judge later ordered the two defendants to be released on bail.
The indictments were filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
