Mervin Silva prepared to resign?

Dr. Mervin Silva Deputy Minister of Labour vowed he would resign from Parliament if a single member of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) led by Sarath Fonseka wins a seat at the forth coming General Election in April. He made the above statement speaking to Lankapuvath today.
He further added that he would definitely win this election by a good majority and that Gampaha leader Basil Rajapaksa would top the list in Gampaha.
He would honour his challenge and resign from his seat if a single member of DNA wins a seat in Gampaha.

Hope he will stick to his word and somebody from Gampaha district will loose.
Is this a veiled threat to the Elections Commissioner? Is zero representation for the DNF, the desired outcome for the UPFA Government? The Rtd General Fonseka is party to many secrets on the Eelam War IV and I believe there are many who like to ensure his silence.

Mervin not even O/L pass, but he is a Dr. From his school age, he spend his life as a house boy in Bandaranayake family. Finally he became to Parliament from a pin chance. Now he is threatening and insulting to war Hero and their party. “You will loos your seat, sure it will;it will”
