Four persons injured in shooting incident in Kelaniya

Four individuals have been injured in a shooting incident in the Dippitigoda area in Kelaniya yesterday (June 25), Police said.
Two unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire using a T-56 gun on a group yesterday afternoon (June 25).
The injured individuals aged 24, 34 and 44 were rushed to the National Hospital in Colombo where they are being treated.
The injured persons have been identified as residents of Wellampitiya, Angoda, Peliyagoda, and Dompe, Police investigations are underway.
