Let us forge ahead in the New Year further consolidating the new political & development culture – President

This year will be of special significance in economic and national development as well as in the field of politics stated Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapksa in his New Year message.
While building the nation, we have set aside all differences and divisions. As a result there is today a new political and development culture before the country. Further consolidating this, we must forge ahead in the New Year, the President further stated.
Following is the full text of the message :
“We are celebrating the dawn of this New Year together with pride in our success in building the nation through a long drawn campaign for development.
We have stepped into the development decade with dedication. You already enjoy its fruits in newly built highways, airports, power plants, ports, roadways and beautification of cities. Similarly, this New Year paves the way for further steps in this development decade, which will bring you and your children many benefits in the future. I am confident that as earlier you would continue to place your trust in us.
This year will be of special significance in economic and national development as well as in the field of politics. We shall continue to move towards this while ensuring national unity, peace and satisfaction. We have identified this as the correct path for true prosperity of the nation and building of the country.
While building the nation, we have set aside all differences and divisions. As a result there is today a new political and development culture before the country. Further consolidating this, we must forge ahead in the New Year. Having won freedom and peace for the people, we are committed to give them progress and happiness, too.
May this New Year be one in which we will be victorious in achieving the hopes and aspirations of the Nation.
I wish you a Happy New Year.”

I WISH THE NATION AS WELL AS THE PRESIDENT & GOSL A VERY SUCCESSFUL AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR AND THE BLESSING OF OUR GOD ALMIGHTY, THE CREATOR!
Please Hon President, stay on course. Don’t let the pressure of the eelamists of TNA, Tamil Nadu and imperial West veer you from the path of implementing fully your wonderful policy of Mahinda Chintanaya.
Britain and USA will try to force through more strictures on SL in Geneva this year. We have to defeat them through gaining more friends to vote for us against conspiracies of Britain and USA in support of the eelamists with bogus war crimes accusations. Let usd be bold and accuse USA and Britain of gross war crimes and crimes against humanity, which continues unabated in the countries they have illegally invaded
