VIDEO: I was not directly told that I was axed – Upeksha Swarnamali (PABA)

Popular teledrama actress Upeksha Swaranamali, speaking to reporters today said that she was not directly told that she was axed from the television series ‘Paba’. She explained that earlier she was notified that due to the Elections shooting dates for January have been canceled.
Once rumours of she being axed from the series due to her supporting the candidacy of Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka came to the media she had received a call from the director informing her that shooting will begin from February.
According the Upeksha she is not sure whether the notice of shooting in February is reliable but highlighted that she was never directly told that she was removed from the series.
