COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka

121 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed for September 16, increasing the death toll to 11,938.

62 males and 59 females were among the victims.

92 of the victims are senior citizens aged above 60 years, 28 victims were aged between 30-59 and one victim aged below 30.
