Ameer Ali sworn in as MP

Former Eastern Provincial Councillor Ameer Ali of the All Ceylon Muslim Congress (ACMC) was sworn in as a United Peoples Freedom Alliance national list MP a short while ago.
Mr. Ali was appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of UPFA’s former MP A. H. M. Azwer.
