Army distributes dry ration packs among civilians in the North

One hundred dry ration packs were distributed among the recently resettled civilians in Rajagaman and Nagarkovil villages by the 521 Brigade of the Sri Lankan Army stationed at Point Pedro.
Parcels of essential food items, each to the value of about rupees one thousand were distributed among needy families by the Army soldiers. This little contribution which was organized by the Civil Affairs office of the Brigade also helps people those who desperately need a helping hand. Mr. M.N.M. Mohammed, a businessman from the south sponsored the event.
Security Forces Head Quarters of Sri Lankan Army- Jaffna has been extended its humanitarian assistance to civilians in the peninsula to rebuild their lives through many worthy projects such as this small help to medium and large scale activities since 2008.
