At least 8,209 chickens dead in poultry farm fire at Kotadeniyawa

At least 8,209 chickens are reported dead after a fire broke out at a poultry farm at Waradala in Kotadeniyawa this morning, the police said.
The reason for the fire is yet to be uncovered.
However, the fire was completely doused by the Negombo Fire Brigade. No injuries caused to people.
Further investigations are being carried out by the police.
