Bus toppled in Bandarawela, 33 injured

At least 33 people were injured, eight of them seriously, after a SLBT bus toppled in Udamalwatta area in Bandarawela, this morning, the police said.
The accident occurred on Embilipitiya- Bandarawela road at atround 9.45 a.m.
The wounded persons have been rushed to the Bandarawela hospital for treatments. The bus had veered off the road and toppled in to some 15 ft deep precipice, according to the police.
