Cement prices in Sri Lanka increased by Rs. 100 per bag

Cement manufacturers in Sri Lanka have increased the price of a 50 kg bag of cement by Rs. 100 due to rising production costs.
According to the manufacturers, the price of a 50 kg bag of cement, which previously ranged from Rs. 2,100 to Rs. 2,250, has now increased to between Rs. 2,200 and Rs. 2,350.
The price increase has reportedly been introduced due to higher cement production costs.
