Cop dies after shooting himself

An Inspector of Police attached to the Mirihana Police had died after shooting himself this morning, Police Spokesman said.
He said the IP had died on admission to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital.
With NO insult or malice towards the dead , May I ask whether the IP is another victim of Ranjan’s video tape
scandal ?
