Dr. Senesh Dissanaike Bandara Resigns as SLRC Chairman

Dr. Senesh Dissanaike Bandara, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC), has resigned from his position.
He announced his resignation just three months after assuming the role under the new National People’s Power (NPP) government.
Dr. Bandara was appointed to the post by former Media Minister Vijitha Herath following Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s election as President of Sri Lanka.
A senior lecturer and acclaimed film director, Dr. Bandara brings extensive experience in media and academia.
