Electricity Supply & Hospital Operations declared essential services

Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has declared the supply of electricity and operations at hospitals and associated services as essential services, which will effect from Wednesday (June 08).
An Extraordinary Gazette was issued by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, by virtue of the powers vested in him in terms of Section 2 of the Essential Public Services Act, No. 61 of 1979.
