Ishara Sewwandi remanded until August 21 over Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder

Ishara Sewwandi, a suspect arrested and detained in connection with the murder of Ganemulla Sanjeewa, was remanded until August 21, 2026.
The order was issued after she was produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (August 10).
The Colombo Crime Division produced the suspect before court and Police also submitted a report detailing the progress of the investigations.
