Island-wide police curfew imposed

Police curfew will be imposed across the country from 9 pm today till 4 am tomorrow, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Meanwhile, a 12-hour police curfew will commence within the North Western province from 6.00 pm today and it will last until 6.00 am tomorrow morning.
The police curfew will be imposed within the Gampaha Police Division starting from 7.00 pm. The curfew is set to be lifted at 6 am tomorrow.
