Malaka Silva assaulted

Malaka Silva, son of Minister Mervyn Silva has been hospitalized following an assault at a night club at Duplication road, Kollupitiya in the early hours today, Police said.
Accordingly Mr. Silva was allegedly assaulted by a Scottish national following an argument at the night club at around 3 am today. A police complaint has been lodged by a friend of Mr. Silva about the incident, they said.
