Modi wishes Sri Lanka on Independence Day

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted people of Sri Lanka as the island nation celebrated its Independence Day.
Modi called Sri Lanka a valued friend and neighbour.
“Independence Day greetings to the people of Sri Lanka, a valued friend neighbour. May Sri Lanka continue to prosper in the years to come,” Modi tweeted.
