Police curfew imposed in Negombo

Police curfew has been imposed within Negombo police division with immediate effect in order to control a tense situation, stated the Police Media Spokesperson.
A tense situation was erupted between two groups at Poruthota in Negombo today following a verbal clash between two individuals.
The police said that curfew will be in effect until 7 am tomorrow (May 06).
