Postal workers to go on strike

The Joint Trade Unions of Postal Service Workers issued a statement that all Postal service employees will go on strike with effect from midnight today (03).
The General Secretary H.K.Kariyawasam said there are several issues in the recruitment procedure of the employees.

These employees yet again are creating problems for the poor ma as only ordinary poor people that use the national post the rich will use courier services or use the electronic media for their mail, this service should be made a essential service or privatized, so the ordinary poor taxpayer will get a better service
