President casts his vote for Weeraketiya PS

Sri Lanka voting to elect 3036 members to 234 Local Authorities started at 7.00 am and our reports indicate the process is taking place smoothly and the situation is very much calm and quite.
Sri Lankan President a short while ago cast his vote at the Medamulana D.A Rajapaksa Vidyalaya to elect the members for the Weeraketiya Pradeshiya Sabha in the southern Hambantota District. Weeraketiya Pradeshiya Sabha has 61900 registered voters.
