President convenes National Security Council

The National Security Council convened a meeting yesterday (13) under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, the President’s Media Division said.
At this meeting, the state of the country’s security was discussed at a lengthy manner.
Further, the President had also adviced the Commanders of the Tri-Forces and the IGP to maintain peace and order in the country.
