Schoolgirl commits suicide in Kandy

A school child in the Peradeniya area in Kandy committed suicide by hanging herself. The victim was a 17 year old schoolgirl who left a suicide note which the police are analyzing.
The 17 year old girl had left a note before hanging herself which claimed that no one was to blame for her death, police reported.
Her body was taken to the Kandy hospital while the post mortem will be conducted today (May 8).
