Shots fired at Embilipitiya Crimes OIC’s house

Unknown gunmen have opened fire at the official residence of the Embilipitiya Police Crimes OIC last night.
Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said the shooting had taken place at around 11.30pm yesterday.
The Crimes OIC, his wife and three children were at home at the time of the incident, however none of them had sustained any injuries in the shooting, he said.
Police said that four bullet holes have been found on the walls of the house.
A special investigation has been launched into the shooting incident, SSP Ajith Rohana said.
