Showers or thundershowers at times in the sea areas

The Met. Dept. says that showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Colombo and Galle and at several places in the other sea areas around the island.
Winds will be Southwesterly and the speed will be 20-40 kmph. The winds can strengthen up to 50kmph at times.
The sea areas off the coast extending from Puttalam to Trincomalee via Mannar and Kankesanthurai and from Hambantota to Pottuvil may be rough at times as winds can strengthen up to 50-60kmph.
