Sudarshana Pathirana appointed new Air Force Commander

Sudarshana Pathirana - 18th Air Force Commander of Sri Lanka

Air Vice-Marshal Sudarshana Karagoda Pathirana has been appointed as the new Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF).

The appointment, made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will come into effect from the 2nd of November.

Accordingly Sudarshana Pathirana will be promoted to Air Marshall and assume duties as the new Commander of the Air Force.
