Suspect arrested in possession of forged Rs.5000 notes

A person was arrested at the Pettah private bus terminal in possession of ten forged Rs.5000 notes, police stated.
The suspect is a 23-year-old resident of the Deiyandara area while police are to present him to the Aluthkade Magistrate Court today (March 19).
Meanwhile, another suspect was apprehended in the Thulhiriya area of Warakapola in possession of five forged Rs.5000 notes.
