Suspension on Lankaenews lifted

The Pugoda Magistrate Court a short while ago ordered to lift the suspension on Lanka-e-news news website and also to release its journalist Shantha Wijesooriya.
On April 28, the Magistrate ordered to suspend the activities of Lanka e News website when the case against Lanka e news journalist Shantha Wijesooriya who was arrested by the Kirindiwala police on April 25, 2011 for allegedly committing contempt of court by publising a news item, was taken up.
