Youth dead, 4 injured in grenade attack

A person was killed and another four wounded following a grenade attack in Pragathi Mawatha, Walasmulla last night, police said.
A 29-year-old resident of Walasmulla was killed in the incident which took place at around 11.00pm yesterday.
The injured persons are currently receiving treatment at the Tangalle Hospital.
Police are yet to determine the cause for the grenade attack while the main suspect has fled the area.
Walasmulla Police have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspect.
