Dilshan named captain for England tour

Tillakaratne Dilshan has been appointed Sri Lanka’s captain for all three formats during the upcoming tour of England in May following Kumar Sangakkara’s resignation from the post after the World Cup. Sri Lanka Cricket have not yet named a vice-captain to fill the role vacated by Mahela Jayawardene because “the prospective candidates are nursing injuries, and their availability for the forthcoming tour is still in question.”

Team captain mean he should organistion the team well any games time,this is not big deals.Myself playing icehockey one of the europe country,here many players during the icehockey world cup match times coming to play from NHL league.Every years changing mostly captain places….this years playing players maybe not play next time because of they want to give young peoples to chances,here not much important captain place.
Mostly important to team good coach and practish(gym).
Unfortunity our culture for sports captain is big deals.Anyway many wishes to Dilshan.

Unless there’s honest, sincere and consorted action to look into and report on and pusue the perpetrators o the events that lead to the disastrous performance in the WC Final (where SL was the demonstrably superior team in all aspects of the game despite being saddled with deadwood at the last minute), the rot will quickly consume the sport, the players and administration.
