111 COVID-19 deaths confirmed for Sunday (08)

Sri Lanka yesterday recorded the highest number of COVID-19 deaths in a single day.
111 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed for August 08, increasing the death toll to 5,222.
56 males and 55 females were among the victims.
None among the victims are aged below 30 years while 21 victims aged between 30-59 years and 90 others aged 60 and above.
