20A gets cabinet approval

20th Amendment to the Constitution of Sri Lanka

The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to the draft 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

The draft bill was presented to the Cabinet earlier today.

Accordingly, the government is expected to present the draft in Parliament shortly.
