27 injured in accident

At least 27 persons were injured when two private buses collided head-on at Morathota junction, Kahawatte on the Colombo-Badulla main road last evening, police said.
Thirteen women and 14 men were injured and they were admitted to the Balangoda, Kahawatte, Pelmadulla and Ratnapura hospitals. Kahawatte police are conducing further investigations.
