450g loaf of bread to be increased by Rs. 5/-

The price of a 450g loaf of bread will be increased by Rs. 5/- with effect from midnight today (11), said the All Island Bakery Owners Association.
The Association said the decision was reached owing to the increase in wheat flour prices.
According to the Association, prices of bakery products will also be increased.
