700 kg of gunpowder found inside shop at Mawanella

Security forces personnel have discovered around 700 kg of gunpowder inside a shop in the Hingula area in Mawanella.
The discovery was made during a search operation carried out in the area last night (07).
The shop owner reportedly has a permit allowing for the possession of only 200 kg of gunpowder, but he has exceeded that limit by over 500 kg.
