Another brothel raided in Maradana

Eight people including five women were arrested during a raid on a brothel at Sangaraja Mawatha, Maradana yesterday, Police said. Police said the brothel was operated under the guise of a lodging house.
One suspect was arrested for managing the brothel and another two were arrested for supporting.
Police revealed the suspects were from Maradana, Passara, Nuwara Eliya, Monaragala and Ambalangoda areas.
The suspects are to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate today.
