MP Athuraliye Rathana Thera seeks protection from Inspector General of Police; N.K. Illangakoon in written stating that he has security threats.

In this letter the reforms in the policies of his political career resulted for security threats to him, colleagues and the Sadaham Sevana , in Rajagiriya Gothami road, Rathana Thera stated.

A protest has been held in the Gothami road, Rajagiriya where Sadaham Sevana located meanwhile Rathana thera attending the parliament.

Rathana Thera returned the Sadaham Sevana on a false information monastery has been stone attacked by an unknown group, Rathana Thera said.

Since the Sadaham Sevana monastery is a local and international level institute of education for bhikkus, the security of the organization would bring up international level conflicts, Rathana Thera added.
