Attempted bank robbery: Party membership of SLPP Pradeshiya Sabha member suspended

The party membership of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Rajangana Pradeshiya Sabha member who was arrested over attempted bank robbery in Thambuththegama, has been suspended, SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam said.
He was arrested in connection with the attempted robbery of Rs. 22.3 million near a private bank in Thambuttegama.
