Berty Premalal passes away

North-Central Province former Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayake passed away at a private hospital in Colombo a short while ago.
The 59 old politician passed away after a surgery he underwent at the Private hospital. He held a cabinet portfolio under the Presidency of Chanrika Bandaranaike Kumarathunga and held the post of Chief Minister of the province for three consecutive terms before his death.
