CID to investigate Mulleriyawa shootout

The investigation into the shooting incident that took place in Mulleriyawa has been handed over to the CID, Police Spokesman Maxi Proctor said a short while ago. From the shootout Former Parliamentarian and Presidential Adviser Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and two more persons were killed.
Five persons including MP Duminda Silva who were injured in the shootout and clash are currently receiving treatment.
