Postal workers have refrained from the distribution of letters in the Colombo region due to a dispute over shifting their work station to a different place. President of the Ceylon Postal Services Union, Jayantha Wijesinghe speaking to Ada Derana said that a consensus could not be reached during talks with the authorities last night.
Hence it is reported that workers from the parcel post and delivery divisions of the Colombo region have also refrained from work.
