Couple stabbed to death in Akmeemana

A couple was stabbed to death with a sharp instrument in the Halgasmulla area of Akmeemana early this morning (November 20), police stated.
The victims were residents of the Poddala area of Galle, the Police Media Spokesman’s office reported.
Police claimed that no suspects had yet been apprehended over the double murder.
